ICMS, The Eindhoven Polymer Laboratories (EPL) and the Materials Driven Regeneration consortium (MDR) are delighted to welcome you all to the ICMS Outreach Symposium "Molecular Science beyond Expectations" on 1 and 2 February 2018. You are now able to register for this symposium via this registration link. Attached you will find the program, more details can be found on our website www.tue.nl/ICMSOutreachSymposium. Please feel free to distribute this invitation to your students, academic and industrial research partners. To secure a seat, make sure to register in time!
The Symposium in a Nutshell
The first day of the Symposium, invited speakers and poster presenters will share their ideas on designing the next generation of polymer materials through multi-material and hierarchical strategies. Participants can learn more about the TU/e expertise and the lab facilities during the presentations as well as during the lab tours. We are also very proud to facilitate the final event of the ICMS Industrial Challenge competition at the end of the day. Young TU/e research talents will pitch their creative solutions to real life industrial challenges. The best pitches will be rewarded.
On the second day the recently granted Gravitation program “Materials-Driven Regeneration", spearheaded by Carlijn Bouten, in collaboration with partners from Regenerative Medicine Utrecht (RMU) and the Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine (MERLN) in Maastricht, will be presented by the Consortium members. The central goal of this program is to investigate, design and use intelligent biomaterials that drive and reinforce the body’s own regenerative power to contribute to the curing of a number of chronic diseases. It excites us that renowned speakers will headline their cutting-edge strategies in the area of biomaterials for the benefit of regenerative medicine during this Symposium.
